ESG Rating Analyst (Internship Position)
Position Summary:
A remote internship is available for qualified candidates in ESG rating analysis.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with Project Managers to conduct ESG rating analyses, performing comprehensive evaluations of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance for China A-shares, Hong Kong-listed entities, and bond issuers.
2. Assess environmental, social responsibility, and corporate governance performance using qualitative and quantitative methodologies to generate professional ESG ratings.
3. Collect and analyze corporate ESG disclosures (e.g., annual reports, sustainability reports, company Announcement), ensuring stringent data quality standards.
4. Monitor domestic and international ESG regulations, industry standards, and market trends to support research initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
1. Academic Background: Current junior/senior undergraduate or postgraduate student; majors in Finance, Environmental Studies, or Social Sciences preferred.
2. Core Skills: Proven ability to manage projects effectively and meet deadlines.
3. Analytical Aptitude: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new methodologies quickly.
4. Industry Alignment: Demonstrated interest in sustainability, environmental stewardship, or corporate governance. Prior ESG experience is a strong advantage.
Terms of Engagement:
1. Duration: March 18, 2025 – June 30, 2025
2. Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
3. Extension: Possible renewal based on performance evaluation.
